My name is Curtis Blount, highly accomplished Cybersecurity, and IT Management professional with 4 decades of experience across multiple industries, including Financial, Advertising, Consulting, Technology Services, Government, Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Critical Infrastructure. Proven expertise in developing and implementing global cyber security strategies, risk management programs, and security operations management. Skilled in both Security Operations and Regulatory Compliance management.
I’ve spent my entire career with one foot in operations and the other in management in virtually every area of Technology. However, my primary focus has been delivering operations and information security management, cyber risk management programs as well as consulting for a broad range of executive organizations and corporate boards.
Been blessed to have an amazing career from being stationed at NATO HQs in Belgium, working with NASA on the Space Shuttle program as a support engineer, to watching the rise of the first implementation of the world wide web to what we now call the Internet. It’s been an amazing journey.
For the past few years, I’ve been focusing on InsightCyber, Inc. As a co-founder and partner at InsightCyber, we have been creating a cyber data analytics company focusing on Operational and Cyber Threat Management. We have created a customized Cyber Threat AI that is unique into the industry. Further, we created a Platform (using our Cyber Threat AI) to provide threat management services to MSP’s/MSSP’s who operate in ICS/OT and IoT industries.
Lastly, I am also the founder of the Cyber Initiative, a mentor-ship program designed to help underrepresented communities, and People of Color found careers in Technology and Cyber-Security. Even though retirement is coming soon, that doesn’t mean I’m going to fade away. In addition to the work around the Cyber Initiative, I’m always on the hunt for a new opportunity to build a new cyber program, work with new technology and build dynamic teams.
